Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha

Your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure with Prehemy Tours begins the moment you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival, our professional and friendly safari guide will warmly welcome you and assist with your luggage before transferring you in a comfortable private vehicle to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or choose to explore the town, take a coffee plantation tour, or simply enjoy the scenic views of Mount Meru from your accommodation. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing to ensure you are well-prepared for the days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – The Land of Giants

After breakfast, your private safari officially kicks off as you drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. This park is known for its huge herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and stunning views of the Tarangire River that attracts countless animals during the dry season. During your game drive, expect to encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, and a variety of birdlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by wildlife and later continue exploring the scenic landscape. Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park – Birds, Forests, and Tree-Climbing Lions

This morning, you’ll depart from Tarangire and head to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park, a lush and compact park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is a paradise for bird lovers, home to thousands of flamingos and over 400 other bird species. The park’s rich biodiversity includes elephants, hippos, giraffes, and the famous tree-climbing lions that rest on the branches of fig trees. You’ll enjoy a full game drive, including scenic stops at the hot springs and lake viewpoints. After an exciting day of exploration, you will be transferred to your lodge situated near the park for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park – Into the Heart of the Wild

Today is a journey into the legendary Serengeti National Park, known worldwide for its endless savannah plains, rich wildlife, and the Great Wildebeest Migration. After breakfast, you’ll leave Lake Manyara and drive through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route, spotting wildlife as you enter the central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area. This region offers some of the best year-round game viewing in Tanzania. After your game drive, you’ll arrive at your tented safari camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the vast Serengeti ecosystem on full-day game drives. With your private guide and vehicle, you’ll cover different parts of the park depending on the season and wildlife movements. The Serengeti is teeming with life – lions lounging under acacia trees, cheetahs stalking prey, elephants roaming freely, and countless herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing across the plains. For those seeking an extraordinary experience, a hot air balloon safari can be arranged at sunrise, offering a bird’s eye view of the wildlife below. After an adventurous day, you’ll return to your camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – En Route Safari Experience

After breakfast, you will have a final morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch a glimpse of any animals you may have missed. You’ll then begin your scenic journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes and Maasai villages, offering insight into both natural and cultural beauty. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way before you reach your lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the world's largest unbroken caldera while relaxing before dinner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha / Airport Drop-off

On your final safari day, you’ll descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five. The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, hyenas, elephants, hippos, and abundant birdlife. With its lush landscape and permanent water sources, it offers a year-round haven for animals. After a memorable half-day game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, we’ll transfer you to your hotel or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of an incredible 7-day private safari with Prehemy Tours.
